Let the beauty of the Gospel of Christ draw you into this journey and discover a little more of the height and depth and width of the love of God, and find strength there. There’s nothing that can separate you from the love of Christ that is offered to you today. When you sink your roots down into that Love, you can grow strong.

Let your roots sink deep into the roots of Christ and find strength in him today. How are your roots? If you want to grow, and have life and strength, you have to sink your roots into His love. Maybe today it’s something as simple as hearing the words, You are loved. Is there something that keeps you from really receiving that? Is there shame or a wound that comes and stands between you and those words? Is there something that keeps you from fully hearing and receiving God’s words, that You are Loved? Whatever comes and mutes those words and tells you that those words are really not for you – today, I encourage you to move through that, and receive those words today without interference. Meet and receive those words of Life, that you are loved. When you are evicted from your home, you realise your only hope is the Sink Gods of the Great Basin. You play a poor villager who lives in the Sink Valley. He also says that he wants us to go on a journey into this love. He wants us to discover just how long, and how high, and how deep this love is. This love knows no limits. It can never be fully sounded. We are forever drawn into it’s embrace. The Sink Gods is a modern adventure game. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Growth starts from the roots and moves up. Paul prays that you and I will sink our roots down deep into God’s love. His love is where life and growth begin and where it all continues from. His love is where we grow strong. In Ephesians 3:16-17 he says, I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. If you want to grow you have to have roots. 'You have not gone up into the gaps to build a wallto stand in battle.' (Ezekiel 3:5-NKJ) God told His people.Our readings today are Ecclesiastes 4 – 6, Psalm 18 and Ephesians 3. We are reading from the New Living Translation. Next, be alert to breaches in my fellowship with God because those gaps can render me vulnerable to defeat. So far, so good but I learned two lessons: first, be sure to put the stopper in the sink when performing certain tasks. 'Please God, please don't let it clog the pipes,' I implored. I can't even remember which day it was but I haven't forgotten the sinking feeling in the bottom of my stomach.
